Samoan Language Week

Talofa lava It’s Samoan Language Week! Today would be the last day of Samoan Language, and we ended it with an item from the Teuila Kindy and also a group of students from the team 5 block. Although I am not Samoan, I also love learning new words in different language not just Samoan, but also in other different languages.

Before we started with all the performances we had our Usual Karakia and Mihi, and also our National anthem. Our first performance was from the Teuila Kindy. There first performance was the Samoan National anthem. After there Performance, we had another amazing performance from Eden Tuala. And our last Performance was performed by the year 7&8 girls. They were performing to the song La'u Samoa.

The Theme for Samoan Language was Alofa atu nei, Alofa atu taeao.  Which also means Kindness given, kindness gained. So when that comes to my mind I think when someone is being kind to you, you should return the favour of being kind back, That way they will know how kind you are! I hope that this theme has given you some idea of what it means to be Kind towards other people. Happy Samoan Language week!!
