My coat of arms

I think every person has their own identity and beauty.  Well this is my identity. To show my identity I used a coat of arms, to indicate all the things that I value the most.  I value my family because they are my number one supporters. There is no better support system than family. Whether I’m feeling down, or it’s a fight with a significant others, they are always there to put a smile on my face.  I also value school, without education we wouldn’t have a point of view of what our future would look like. Self care, I value myself, why? Because we don’t realise how important we are. I’m a really goofy and loud person, so I love to make people smile as while as myself.  Finally my friends, they are very important to me because they help solve problems, and keeps me stronger. Here are two key words I keep with me, Believe and Integrity. They are just there to encourage me to keep going. This is my coat of arms, hope you enjoyed it.

As you can see this is my Visual Mihi, on the top left corner I am proud of who I am, and I am proud to be a Tongan. Next on the Right corner is my family, family is everything to me. And on top of Family, it shows that I love Music. In the bottom left corner is my bible and a little verse that I love reading. It says, "For I know the plans I have for you, Declares the lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future"Jeremiah 29:11. Last of all in the right bottom it shows that I am a storms supporter. Hope you like my visual mihi. 

Reflection of 2017

It’s that time of the year where the year 8’s head off to college and, the year 7’s become the leaders of the school. I’m a year 7 student and next year I will be leading the school and setting the examples for the younger students.

One of the things i’m most proud of 2017 is getting to know people and also building my confidence, while i’m in team 5. The other thing i’m most proud of is being announced as a prefect for 2018. I am looking forward to be leading the school as a prefect!

An important lessons I have learned throughout this year is, “ACHIEVE YOUR PERSONAL BEST”! What do you think achieve your personal best means to you? Personally for me I think it means to never give up with your learning, and also give everything a go! Like Sports, for an example you want to get the try, but you don’t quite know how to. JUST GIVE IT A GO!

I hope that next year I could focus on finishing my work and never getting distracted by my friends. I will always get distracted by my friends and part of that is because we always sit next to each other. So my goal for next year is to never get distracted by other people and, sit next to people that wouldn’t distract me.

If I come across challenges I will always remember to “Never give up”. I have one more year until I will be heading off to college, so i’m making the most of my time in intermediate.

I am looking forward to being leaders of the schools, and looking after the ones younger than me. I am so grateful to have a beautiful mother who loves and cares for me. I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for my mother. And also to my teachers who have taught me over the past years, I would like to thank you guys as well! Last but not least I would like to thank my family for always encouraging me to try my best at school! I can not wait for 2018!

The photo on the top right corner show how I love my family very much, and on top of family shows how I really love to play music and sing songs. In the bottom left, shows how much I really like to play sports as well. Last but not least, on the bottom right shows that I go to church, and believe in Jesus Christ.
