Lady Pink

Today we will be talking about a graffiti artist, lady pink and how she uses Texture,Colour and shape in her artwork to show that women can do anything. As you can see Lady Pink uses a lot of colours to express how she feels about empowering women.  She also uses Texture to bring the colours together by using the spray paint in different artwork. Our last element shows she uses different shapes to express different kinds of faces in her artwork. Her message towards all her artwork, to men especially is that women can do anything, weather its graffiti or different kind of arts.

Life without trees

Image result for shady tree
Beneath the shady tree
Who likes to lie with me
With my foot stomping on the ground
And my head in the sky
While the tall tree watches the clouds go by
I realised what is it like without trees
Standing still thinking about the question
Over and over again
Without a tree there's no shade to rest our tired heads
Closing my eyes scared to think if this world had no trees
They will be no fruits, fruits sweeter than a chocolate bar
Without a tree there will be nothing
To protect us from the noise nearby.

Being a good Learner

Education is one of the key things that are important in my life.  Believe it or not it holds a huge position to being the best learner I could be. If you work hard and you do your best, you can do anything.  So let me explain to you in the next three paragraphs on how you can improve your chances of being a good learner.

Being a good learner involves making eye contact, even when the teachers talking.  Folding your arms easily can catch your teachers attention that you understand the task that has been given to you.  For an example sitting in the front of the class setting a good example for your classmates around you.

As a good learner it’s always good to ask a question.  The more people asking questions the better result you get from your teacher. The reason to it is because when asking question no matter if it’s wrong or right, raising your hand just to ask a simple question just means that you want to improve your learning. For instance your stuck with a strategy, and you don’t understand the task that has been given to you.  It’s always good to ask a classmate next to you, or even your teacher.

Being a good learner requires being present at school.  Students are most likely to succeed academics when your attending school everyday.  That way your teacher doesn’t have to repeat herself. For an example there’s something really important and your part of that event, not attending the event can make it harder for your classmates around you to cover for you.

So there you have it three ways you can improve your chances of being a good learner.  Making eye contact, asking questions and being present at school are easy ways you can become a good learner.  I hope that my three points were clear to you, and that you could follow these tips to help you out.

Review on my writing test!

Having friends is not just to play with during morning tea and lunch, but having friends also means having someone to talk to when your going through a rough time.  What does it mean by having a good friend? Well read the following paragraphs on how you could improve yourself by being a good friend.

Being a good friend means to always have trust in them.  Trust is a big thing, not just for me but I know for others.  The reason to it is because when telling others your personal life, it’s like relying on them to keep it a secret.  Which I know I have friends I can depend on when telling a secret.  For instance you have something really bad you want to tell your closest friend, but you don’t know whether you could trust them or not.  So here’s my advice to you if you really know him/her that well, then I suggest you go ahead and tell that person.

As a good friend you should always care for them, no matter how hard things are between you and that person.  Caring for them can easily mean I got your back, you got mine.  That way you know they care for you.  For an example, your going through a rough time, and you have no one to talk too.  Just remember you got that one friend that can change your mood into pleased rather than sad.

Furthermore cracking jokes with your friends can easily put a smile on their faces.  Cracking good jokes has a way of entertaining others, instead of snapping jokes that shouldn’t be said.  So say your group of friends are just having a bit of a laugh, but there's always that one person who has to ruin it by saying something not even close to what yous were talking about.  Just whisper over to that person and, tell them something encouraging for them to think twice about what they just said.

Finding a supportive friend can help a lot with your learning.  That way you don’t have friends that distract you from getting your work done on time.  If you know your gonna talk to them, I’ll recommend that you sit with a friend that can help you with your work, so that way you don’t have to stay in for not finishing your work.  So say I had this one friend that can just crack jokes and talk all the time, I won’t just sit there laughing.  Instead I would move somewhere where I don’t get distracted.

So there you have it, trusting one another, caring for them, cracking good jokes and just being a supportive friend.  These are ways of what a good friend looks like. I hope that my tips helped you on being a good friend!

We got the opportunity to mark our own writing test, as part of our writing for the week. We had to highlight parts that is been given a statement, explaining, and also having an example.
