Lawn Mowing
This week we have been focusing on perimeters and the area of the field. But first we had to get into four groups of three. My group and I Strategy was to just add them all, to get the answer. On the third slide explains how my group worked. And how I could improve my work next time.

High School Enrolments
This week we are learning to ask questions to help my understanding and others maths thinking. My class got spilt into two groups, and one group was in the ground, while the other group was doing rotations. We got given this equation, and we had to find out what A and B is, and how we came up with that question. The next page shows how my group worked out one of the questions.

Shared Lunch - Problem Solving
Our group has been learning about fractions. Each Week we get given a task and try solving it as a group. My teacher splits us into 4 groups and in that 4 groups we all have to solve this problem. My group were, Kerstein, Kaden and Nasibah. My Group and I had to solve this equation together. And on the next slide shows what we did in our group and how we talked about it. Then It shows our piece of work we did. And then on the last slide shows, if my group and I worked well together or did not work together and Why. And also what we could achieve next time.

Pascal's Triangle
This is a pascal's triangle, there are patterns, which patterns can you see? The patterns I could see are all the numbers on the side are all ones. The Numbers I shaded in are the numbers that are uneven. I first added all the numbers in each line and wrote the numbers that equal that numbers on each row.

Maths Problems
this week we have been learning about the BEDMAS. We then had to make our own equation, once we have finish making 10 equations we had to pick a partner to work my equation out. And my partner was Tom. I then had to mark it to see if it was right. So I have a challenge for you! My challenge is to work my equation out and see how many you have equations got right and how many you got wrong.

Quality blog comment
We are learning to create a quality blog comment. This morning Mrs Shearing came over to room 2 to show us how to write a positive blog comment. Our first introduction was to write a blog comment but then had to give it to a buddy for them to write it. And once they approve on it then we could post it on our blog. This is what I have said about Sabrina's Blog, her blog post was about 15 students saying their speech in front of team 5. This is what I said about sabrina's Blog post.
